JFS Annual Campaign

JFS Annual Campaign
When Money is Raised…Lives are Uplifted

Serving individuals in San Antonio, Bexar County and surrounding counties without regard to age, race, religion or background, Jewish Family Service (JFS) is ready to serve when called.

Did you know  that JFS has three locations in San Antonio?  The main office is at the Jewish Community Campus, with two additional offices at Temple Beth-El and on Mission Road.
JFS offers senior services; mental health services for adults, children, youth and families; case management services; emergency financial assistance; victims of crime support services; emergency and supplemental food; family life education and parenting education.
JFS is committed to providing affordable services to more and more clients while maintaining the highest quality.  As part of that effort, JFS announces a new partnership with Methodist Healthcare Ministries.  Together they will strengthen the mental health services for children, youth and their families
Requests for the services JFS provides for seniors have recently increased dramatically, but the budget for providing those services has remained the same. JFS provides case management and counseling for seniors, transportation for medical appointments, as well as resource information and referrals.
The mission of JFS is, in part, “to heal the world.” This is usually done one client at a time.  But when Hurricane Katrina survivors arrived in San Antonio in the summer of 2005, JFS heard their calls and was among the first to greet them, deal with their varied needs and to work diligently and tirelessly as long as its services were needed.
The JFS Annual Campaign began in the first week of August, 2008 and continues through June, 2009.  Contributions may be sent to JFS at 12500 NW Military Hwy, #250, San Antonio, Tx 78231, by calling 302-6921, or at the website, www.jfs-sa.org. using PayPal.
